In general, you'll have to choose between low cost, speed, and
reliability.

What is in the way?

Also, do you have existing wifi networks that may cause a problem? What
about sites in between the two points? Generally, urban environments are
more difficult because of a high noise floor, due to many devices
physically close on the same band and near it in frequency.

You could get two nodes with highly directional antennas pointed at each
other.

The bad news is: equipment might end up being expensive ($4000?)
The good news is: you can sell it when you're finished with it.
