[BBLISA] Recommended hot-plug eSATA PCI cards?

I think the hot-plug issue is not in the card, but in kernel support for
hot-plugging. The linux kernel doesn't (didn't) probe sata devices, and
while you can unplug a probed drive, it won't recognize a different
drive. Or at least, it didn't used to.

I haven't taken a close look recently, but recent kernel efforts seem to
be related to making sata drives appear to be scsi drives. Perhaps this
is related to the hotplug issue. Hope that helps, but lets hope that
SCSI and SATA aren't totally dead and obsolete before the hotplugging
works... :-( Hey, Redhat is hiring... :-) But not for this :-(

Well, its spring. Anything is possible. What am I doing writing email on
a beautiful Saturday??? Bye!
