I am looking for a mid-level systems/network administrator for a
position in Harvard Square. We are a small private investment company
that trades financial instruments based on mathematical models.

The administrator will be solely responsible for all aspects of systems
and networks for the firm. The systems are Solaris, Linux and OS/X,
with Cisco network gear. I am not looking for a Unix guru but you must
at least be able to download, compile and install opensource
applications. You must fully understand networking! The majority of
the work up front will be network related. You will have to work with
senior networking individuals within multi-national banks and exchanges,
so if you don't understand subnetting and VPN's don't apply. This is a
very low stress environment and while you will be on-call, if you get
called once a week that would be an extraordinary event.

If you are interested in the position please send me your resume, salary
requirements. In addition please send a one paragraph statement on the
type of job you are looking for including your desires for career
growth. Thank you.

Tim Feeney
