[BBLISA] Accessing application via SNMP on Windows Server 2008R2

I am attempting to use a USB temperature monitor on a server running
Windows 2008R2. The included software has a component that runs as a
service and a GUI app that configures and reads it. What I really want to
do is access it remotely via SNMP. The software includes an option to run
as it's own SNMP server, but that conflicts with the Windows SNMP service
which I'm using to access network traffic stats.

I know the OIDs but attempting to read them fails with "no such variable".
The response I got from my first support query was essentially "it should
just work" and a pointer to the page with the OID list. It's not clear to
me that they understood I need access remotely rather than from the local
system.

Any info on whether what I want to do is possible would be much
appreciated.
