Hi Folks --

LinuxWorld Expo is coming to Boston on April 3-6th, and LOPSA is going
to have a booth there. We need volunteers who are willing to come work
the booth for a shift or two. The job and mission is to recruit new
members, hand out stickers and sell t-shirts, and most critically: eat
the food we feed you!

If you've not heard of LOPSA yet, we're the next evolution of SAGE, in a
way; an independent professional society for and by system
administrators. We aim to provide membership benefits to sysadmins:
educational conferences and workships, an active member-driven website,
publications and professional tools. We also aim to be the voice of
system administration in society in general, gaining a place for our
profession in upper management, Washington, and beyond. Visit us at
http://www.lopsa.org.

LinuxWorld Expo attendees may or may not have ever heard of LOPSA, and
so this is a great opportunity to help expand our reach. New member
outreach is critical to our launch. Our booth will be open only so long
as we can staff it: even if you can commit for only a few hours, that
helps!

Anyone interested in helping out can contact me (palmer at lopsa.org) or
Matthew Barr, LOPSA Board Conference Liasion, at matthew at lopsa.org.

Thanks!
-Chris
