    I'm a little behind on the thread (I always am for lists like
this), but one point that stands out on my "wiki wish list" is DAV
support.

    Given an emacs DAV mode, you would get the best of both worlds,
where emacs users get to be happy, and other users still see whatever
it is that makes them happy.

    Also, in the "how do you like your pain" department, Twiki has a
thing called "KupuEdit" (might be portable beyond twiki) that gives a
GUI type editor in your average javascript capable browser.  Not my
idea of fun, but others love it.
