*Job Description:*

Responsible for implementing new technologies, the day to day management of
the environment and to help us implement our vision.

*Duties and Responsibilities:*

• Assist with setup and day to day management of several VMWare ESX
environments.
• Monitor environment for issues and resolve them.
• Setup VM Images containing builds of Ubuntu, Redhat and Windows.
• Be part of an on-call rotation schedule providing after hours support of
the environment.
• Assist with day to day management of a Production web application
environment based on Linux and open source technologies.
• Provide IT support to Corporate environment consisting of Windows and
Macintosh platforms.
• Use best practices to setup and maintain a secure computing environment.
• Healthcare IT experience is a plus.

*Required Skills and Abilities:*

• Proven experience with Linux system administration.
• 5+ years of experience with supporting Linux in a production web
environment.
• Experience administering linux based database servers.
• Be a technical "Jack of all trades."
• Has to be reliable and will follow through on tasks.
• Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Experience with setup and support of HP and Dell server hardware.
• Experience with setup and administration of VMWare ESX environments.
• Experience with supporting Windows and OSX desktop environments.
• Have a valid drivers license and the ability to drive to other locations
in Massachusetts.
• BA/BS or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and be able to install computer equipment in a
rack.
• Experience working in a startup / fast paced environment.

• This is a regular, full-time, in-house position. Contractors will not be
considered at this time.
