Full time position with a downtown Boston client of Cornerstone IT LLC (Agency)

Solaris 10 and LINUX RHAT Administrator  (version 5 or above)
a)       Prime area of expertise as SA for Solaris/RHAT-Linux in Veritas (VCS,VX,Netbackup), EMC with Strong focus on OS building, hardening, performance monitoring and troubleshooting at Kernel, Memory, CPU etc using all available tools.

 

b)       Secondary skills; 

Oracle(11G) and/or JAVA(Web Logic Server, JBOS) 

* basic administration skills only(stop/start/new installations etc)

 

c)       Automate the monitoring and other build processes using shell-scripting, PERL and other available tools using HP-Openview, Netcool, OVIS, VCS GUI.

 

d)       Well versed with basic networking commands, concepts and architecture such as snoop, wireshark, netstat, tcp, ifconfig.

 

e)       Knowledge of load-balancers(F5), firewall, circuits and switches. (familiarity with SEV-1 tool)

 

f)         Able to report health status of the systems and gather reporting statistics at any point in time from all angles.



   Support of Financial Services Trading Systems is Preferred
