Senior Network and System Administrator

Requirements
Web site operations for www.sermo.com which is powered by Linux, MySQL and
Java-based applications including:
* Site and network security
* Hardware and network design
* Fault monitoring and alerting
* Fault remediation
* Application administration
* Network design and support
* Intrusion defense

Qualifications
* 7+ years of Systems Administration experience.
* 5+ years of Linux and MySQL administration.
* B. Sc., BA or equivalent.
* 5+ years experience with TCP/IP networking, including routers, firewalls,
DNS, and DHCP. 
* Scripting experience (e.g. bash, perl, python).
* Experience with co-located hosting sites.
* Cisco IOS/Pix. 
* Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot unknown problems efficiently.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing, startup environment.
