Job Title: Senior Systems Administrator

Description:

Provide support and administration of a Microsoft
Windows 2003 Active Directory environment, Microsoft
Exchange 2003/2007 Messaging System and Windows
XP/Vista clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Senior Systems Administrator would be expected to:

   * Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows
2003 Active Directory
   * Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Exchange
2003 Server
   * Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Cluster
Services
   * Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows
2003 DNS, DHCP, file and print services
   * Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft
Sharepoint/Project Server
   * Support Windows based applications and services
on servers and desktops
   * Support Windows XP and Vista clients including
desktop hardware, OS, applications, Active Directory
group policies, etc.
   * Maintain high level of end-user satisfaction
   * Maintain and update system hardware, software,
initialization files and configuration data
   * Develop and maintain systems documentation and
systems management procedures
   * Ensure high availability, reliability and
performance of the Microsoft Windows servers, Active
Directory and messaging environment

Job Requirements:

Requirements/Certifications:

MCSE 2003 Certification is required

Minimum Experience:

Three to five years of hands-on experience in advanced
(10+ Servers) Microsoft Windows Active Directory
environment with Microsoft Exchange 2000-2003 Server.

Skills:

   * Hands-on experience administering Microsoft
Windows 2003 AD environent
   * Hands-on experience administering Microsoft
Exchange 2003/2007 environment
   * Hands-on experience with Microsoft Cluser
Services
   * Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization
technologies
   * Proficiency in adminstering AD services including
DNS, DHCP, group policies, file and print sharing
   * Experience with an enterprise anti-virus solution
   * Experience with at least one enterprise software
rollout and patch management system
   * Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and fundamentals of
networking
   * Experience developing disaster recovery
procedures for Microsoft server infrastructure
   * Strong problem solving abilities
   * Strong PC skills under Windows using Microsoft
Office applications
   * Good written and verbal communication skills
   * Team player attitude and good customer interface
skills

Skills preferred but not required:

   * GIAC certification is a plus
   * Experience with RHEL or Debian GNU/Linux is a
plus
   * Microsoft SQL Server Administration
   * VCP is a plus
   * Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and
switches
   * Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and switching
