System Engineering Position

We have a systems administrator position opening in the Bioinformatics
Program and Center for Advanced Genomic Technology (CAGT) at Boston
University.


Systems Engineer


A systems administrator who will manage a bioinformatics computational
core facility. Responsibilities include managing a cluster of 160+
processors, several large data repositories of bioinformatics software
and databases, biocomputing and genomics databases and general purpose
computing tools for scientific research.

The ideal candidate has skills in managing, recognizing, and
troubleshooting problems with computer systems in a UNIX/Linux
environment.
